The Exibition:

ANCIENT TRYPILLIA
SEVEN THOUSAND YEARS OF SPIRITUAL ART
 
August 20, 2010 – September 20, 2010
 
Trypillia Exibition
The exhibition, presented by the Fund for Research of Ancient Civilizations, features:
 
-         A unique collection of holograms and photographs of Trypillian artifacts from Ukrainian museums;
 
-         Brilliant works of folk and contemporary art: drawings and painting by legendary artists Taras Shevchenko, Vikenty Khvoika, Yury Kamyshny, and Volodymyr Balas;
 
-         Sculptures by Aleksandr Archipenko, Zlatko Paunov, Ivan Bratko, Sofia Shatkivska, and contemporary ceramic works by Natalia Kormeluk, Myron Bokalo, and Lyudmila Smolyakova;
 
-         Magnificent collections of folk dress by Anna Kulczcky, Vira Nakonechna, and the Shepko and Semerey Families;
 
-         The pysanky of Serhey Borus, Vira Borus, and Olga Kolodij;
 
-         Trypillianarchaic dolls by Valentuna Berdnuk;
 
-         Educational lectures and a series of special events and public programming by leading professionals in the areas of art history , philosophy and archeology;
 
-         Dr. Mykhailo Videiko, professor of archeology at the Ukrainian Institute of Archeology NANU (National Academy of Sciences Ukraine);
 
-         Dr. Natalia Burdo, professor of archeology at the Ukrainian Institute of Archeology NANU (National Academy of Sciences Ukraine);
 
-         Dr. Lyudmila Fylypovych from the Institute of Philosophy NANU;
 
-         Documentary film presentations;
 
-         Live musical performances, entitled The Magical Sound of our Ancestors, by famous musicians Andrei Pidkivka, Alla Kytsevych, Vlad Deineko, Roman Malko, and Lydia and Gabriela Oros.
